In June of 2010 my brother and I had to make the difficult decision to move our parents from their home of over 50 years to an assisted living facility to assure their safety and ability to maintain a quality of life that they were no longer able to achieve by living at home. We chose a facility that was highly recommended but such a disappointment. They spent 9 HORRIBLE months at the other facility. I can’t begin to tell all the problems we experienced at the other place. In the spring of 2011, we discovered The Waterford of Smyrna and it has been a blessing from God to our entire family. From Day 1 everyone at The Waterford has been an extended family to us all. The facility is beautiful and very well kept, ALL of the staff treat our parents and us like family members and the food is like eating at a Five Star Restaurant!!! In June of 2011 our father was hospitalized for a couple of weeks and passed away on July 15th.

During that stressful time, we never had to worry about our mother. The Waterford treated her like an angel and made things so easy for us so that we were able to concentrate on and spend time with our father. Since Daddy’s passing, they have all been so comforting to us and especially to Mama. There are not enough words to tell you have wonderful The Waterford of Smyrna is and I always make sure and tell anyone I know that if they ever need a place for their loved ones, that The Waterford is the place to go.  ~ Sandra Bolden, daughter of resident

RokGallery “Well, I have been living at The Waterford in Smyrna for approximately 10 months and I love it more and more as each month passes! I think that YOU would like living here too! I have all the comforts of home from my own furniture to delicious meals where I have a selection of entrees to select from each day. YOU should come and give it a try! Why not today?” ~ Ed Neely (Waterford Resident)
